Eye Candy:: Vintage Finds
Two things that rock: Flickr and Vintage-aholic’s!
Flickr is totally rad (thats right RAD!) because of the diversity of the content, whether you want to see Mid Century Modern roofs or Danish Modern tree-houses (there be at least one) you can find not just a picture of it, but a great picture. Vintage photographers like one of our favorites Hilda Grahnat make old heirlooms young again and with so much style!
Number two, Vintage-aholics are just delightful. Some (family members, cause they just don’t get it) might say it’s a disease, but surely its a form of enlightenment. Vintage-aholic’s are constantly on the prowl for new antique malls, captiously interested in thrift shops and always first in line for estate sales. Not only do Vintage-aholic’s have great collections of everything from lunch boxes to clocks;) but they do it with so much style.
Today we were looking though our Flickr group Vintage Finds:: Quite Serendipitous and saw so many great pics of vintage items, several of which came from some of our personal favorite Vintage-aholics. So in celebration of those enlightened vintage minded folks check out this stuff (and their wonderfully curated stores/blogs/sites)!
Sidebar: if ya’ll are still not using Flickr go here and create an account and get in on all the fun! If you are using Flickr what are some of your favorite features or groups?
